Exhibition Celebrating Life and Legacy of Nelson Mandela to Open in 26 Leake Street by admin on July 18, 2018

Shout About London is very proud to announce that we will be hosting “MANDELA The Official Exhibition” at our venue 26 Leake Street! It truly is an honour.

Mandela: The Official Exhibition is the major new global exhibition that explores the life of the world’s most famous freedom fighter and political leader, Nelson Mandela. Packed with Mandela’s authentic personal possessions and stories – many never before seen or heard – this immersive multi-media exhibition will reveal secrets and offer unique insights into an extraordinary life and times.

The Exhibition is designed to educate, entertain and inspire using many personal belongings and objects never previously seen outside of South Africa. These items, including the suit worn for the opening of the South African parliament in 1996; a traditional head dress gifted to him by The King of Xhosa people, King Xolilzwe Sigcawu as he awarded Mandela the ancient tribal warrior honour of the Isithwalandwe Sesizwe, for the first time in two centuries; his presidential desk and chair and his much loved iconic beige trench coat, combine with immersive media presentations and scenic re-creations, to enable visitors to actively engage with and experience key moments in Nelson Mandela‘s life.

Nelson Mandela: The Official Exhibition will open at 26 Leake Street on February 8 2019 and run until June 2.
